This is a great recipe to make with little ones. It's one my family has had since I was a child and I remember really enjoying making the dough into any shape that I wanted! I remember it so well that we're using it as an activity in this week's Tiny Tots theme!
Fun and Easy Pretzels
1 pkg. yeast (2 tsp.)
1 - 1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. honey
4 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
1 TBSP salt
1 pkg. yeast (2 tsp.)

Combine yeast, water, honey, and salt. Stir in the flour; knead until smooth. Shape and then brush with egg. Sprinkle with salt. Bake in preheated 425-degree oven for 15 minutes. Cool and EAT!
