I found this idea over at Her Cup Overfloweth and thought it a fun way to make mealtime interesting for our Bubba! The idea is to serve his meals in muffin tins, with each meal item getting a separate hole in the tin. Michelle explains it well here. Pictured above is one of her examples.
This week's theme is outer space. I don't have a picture of my muffin tin meal yet but here's the plan:
- popcorn for clouds
- Space ship mini bagels
- Cheese slices cut into star shapes
- Banana slices for the sun and moon (cut some in half for half moons)
- Kix cereal for stars
- Grapes for planets
